What Ledcor is Hiring for:

Labourer

Location: Coleman, AB

Project Duration: May to November 2023

LOA: $130.00 per day 

Working Conditions

  • Candidates must be flexible to work on projects throughout central/southern Alberta.
  • Shift rotations working 10-14 hours per day. 
  • Work nights and overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various highway construction tasks including raking, shoveling, unloading trucks and small maintenance tasks
  • Assist with traffic control procedures and work zone setup
  • Work well with others and adhere to Ledcor Health, Safety & Environmental program

Experience

  • Previous labor experience within a highways setting is an advantage

Certificates & Licences

  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver’s abstract

Pre-employment

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing  
  • Preference for those with an RV or trailer, camp area with hookups provided

Competencies

  • Ability to incorporate health and safety concepts into work activities
  • Must demonstrate ability to work under minimal supervision
