Laborers / Safety Needed at Solar Project Paying $30/hr + Per Diem

This is a contract to hire position and a chance to work with the Nation’s leading utility scale solar contractor! Come join a long term project with an amazing company and help create a 600 MW solar field! Schedule is M-Th, 40 hours a week (4x10), 6:30-4:30! Pay is up to $30 an hour with a per diem for those that qualify!

Duties:

•Work alongside safety team creating site specific safety plan as weather/tasks change.•Deliver training on safety initiatives, work procedures, etc.•Participate in safety related discussions•Onboard employees (will be tasked of about 400 employees) with an understanding of SOLV safety policies.•Compete safety audits and cover safety courses.•Be competent at documentation with high level of detail.

Qualifications

•Must have OSHA 30•Must have previous experience in Utility scale PV systems or similar.•Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes as they apply to all aspects of solar construction.•Ability to evaluate environmental health and safety related risks.•Knowledge of power generation mechanical and electrical systems.
