What Jewel Welding Pipe-Fab & Coatings is Hiring for:

Jewel Welding Pipe-Fab, & Coatings has an upcoming project in Powell River - Lois Lake Penstock Rehabilitation – expected to last until mid-December 2020.

We have numerous positions open for Laborers and CWB Welders.

The work schedule will be 7 days a week, 12 hours per day. Reliable transportation is required as this project location is not accessible by transit.

Laborers

The Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools, and larger equipment such as Zoom Boom and Bobcat. Responsibilities will include the cleaning and preparation of the work-site, power washing, sandblasting, assisting Welders as needed, and cleaning up rubble and debris.

CWB Welders

This position will mainly involve repair welding. The Welders will be required to use a variety of tools, machinery, and equipment. The successful candidates will need strong mechanical ability and be knowledgeable in industry safety practices.

Compensation

  • $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
