Machinist Role & Requirements
Our Machinists are responsible for manufacturing metal or plastic components to meet industry standards using a variety of machining tools, such as CNC Turning centers, CNC Machining Centers, manually operated lathes, drill presses, and milling Machines. Machinists are also required to fit and assemble components and machined parts to close tolerance, verify dimensions and maintain inspection reports and records. Our machinists work a compressed work week allowing for more time to spend with family and creating a better work life balance.
You will be required to have:
- Journeyman Certificate
- Manual Lathe and Mill Experience
- CNC Programing experience
- Work with little or no supervision
- The ability to work to tight tolerances
- Read and Interpret drawings
- Excellent communication skills
On-Road Heavy Duty Mechanic Role & Requirements
This is a shop position and requires individuals to be on call.
You will be required to have:
- Journeyman certificate in the Province of Alberta.
- CVIP Ticket
- Experience with Cat, and Detroit Cummins
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract
- The ability to diagnose, trouble shoot, and repair issues in mechanical equipment, highway tractors, trailers, Service and Drilling Rigs.
Hydraulic Shop Foreman Role & Requirements
The Hydraulic Shop Foreman is responsible for the day to day operations of the Hydraulic Shop. The position is required to supervise, coordinate, QC shop work, Liaison with Customers, quote jobs, design new Hydraulic systems, and schedule activities of workers. Required to verify dimensions and maintain inspection reports and records. Responsible for analyzing work orders and blueprints to determine the need for supplies and the required work. Diagnose hydraulic issues and determine the proper repairs. Provide a safe work environment.
You will be required to have:
- Journeyman Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright is considered an asset
- 5 years Hydraulic experience
- Service orientated – Driven to exceed customer expectations
- Time management
- Ability to maintain a work schedule
- Read and Interpret drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer Literate
