What OCL Group is Hiring for:
Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters for a turnaround project in Cochrane working a 12-hour shift.
Dates are: April 24 - May 21, 2023
Responsibilities and Duties
Read and interpret blueprints/ISO’s
Must be able to take directions from supervisors and work within a team environment
Blind and deblind process equipment
Remove and install PSV’s
Use torque equipment and ensure no leaks
Rigging experience would be an asset
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
Complete tasks in line with OCL and industry standards, procedures and practices
Requirements:
Journeyperson/Apprentice Pipefitter Certification/Ticket or other Mechanical Trade
Certification
Previous experience working turnarounds and oil and gas experience is an asset
Must have valid safety tickets
Driver’s license
Must be able to work under SBA mask
Ensure a safe team environment
Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and working from heights
