This Journeyperson Electrician role is a local-only opportunity at Imperial Oil’s Cold Lake site—one of the largest in situ thermal operations globally. Electricians will handle installation, control systems, hazardous area work, and mentoring apprentices. Ideal for certified tradespeople looking to support critical refinery infrastructure on a stable schedule.

What you’ll need:

Journeyperson Electrician certification
CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid
AWP and Fall Protection certifications
Valid driver's license and 3-year abstract
Pre-access drug and alcohol screening

What will make you stand out:

Experience in hazardous locations or refinery environments
Proficiency with multimeters, Meggar, and circuit design
Willingness to mentor apprentices and ensure code-compliant installations
