Journeyman Carpenter in Denver, CO.

Requirements:

• Documented resume of skills in performing all outlined apprentice duties and requirementsCITC or other accredited training program or Union certificationNew hires without certification require minimum 30 days on-site work to be defined as Journeyman. Journeyman title is not guaranteed without certification.
• Safety Leadership & SkillsHelps to guide not only our crews but other crews on site.
• Quality Leadership & SkillsMonitors quality of all installations to confirm project requirements are met.
• Training & MentoringHelps train and mentor Carpenter Apprentices
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years’ commercial construction experience
• Positive attitude and desire to continuously improve skills while teaching others
• Familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures
• Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks
• Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
• Able to effectively and appropriately communicate with the public and co-workers
• Have proper hand tools to perform work duties
• High regard for safety and pride for quality of work
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to operate light equipment is helpful, not required
• Willing to relocate to project locations.
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head.
