What You’ll Like About This Job

OCL Group is hiring Ironworkers for Kearl Oilsands in Fort McMurray, offering camp accommodations and charter flights. Work involves installing structural steel, using rigging equipment, and performing steel alignment and welding tasks on a rotating 14/14 schedule. This is a high-paying opportunity for certified tradespeople comfortable working in remote oilfield conditions.

Perks & benefits:

$52/hr Journeyperson rate ($46.80/hr for 3rd Year)
Camp accommodations and meals
Charter flights from Edmonton and Calgary
Paid weekly
RRSP and pension contributions
Paid training
10% vacation/stat pay
Overtime after 8 hours

What you’ll need:

Journeyperson Ironworker ticket or registered apprenticeship
Experience with rigging, fitting, and steel erecting
Valid safety tickets: OSSA, CSTS-2020, Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015
Ability to pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background checks

What will make you stand out:

Experience with multiplate assembly
Strong communication and teamwork
Previous industrial or oilsands project experience
