Jardeg Construction is hiring Rope Access Technicians and Welders for maintenance work at the Imperial Oil Kearl site near Fort Mackay, Alberta. These roles support outage and maintenance operations on mining and plant infrastructure. With rotational shifts, charter flights, and full camp accommodations, it’s a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for project-based oil sands work.

What you'll need:

IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification (for Rope Access)
Journeyperson Welder Certification (for Welder role)
CWB FCAW – All Positions
CSO
Standard First Aid (Level C or A)
Fall Protection
Elevated Work Platform
ESC Confined Space & Monitor
ESC Wood Buffalo / Wildlife Awareness
Valid Driver’s License
Mask Fit Test
Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test

What will make you stand out:

B-Pressure Welder or Pipefitter certification
Mine equipment welding experience (D11 dozers, 797 haul trucks)
Overhead Crane Ticket
Electrician or Insulator certification
