Industrial Electrician with Calibration Experience $42/hr

The Electrician will be responsible for maintaining equipment and systems in a GMP pharma/biotech production environment via predictive & preventative maintenance and effective breakdown response.

This person will perform various preventive and, corrective maintenance tasks, optimize and set-up a wide variety of GMP and non-GMP production and facilities equipment such as boilers, compressed air, HVAC, pump, process tank systems, and measuring (indicating and recording) and test equipment, autoclave, lyophilizing, depyrogenation oven, parts washing, isolator, walk-in cooler, chromatography, and filling and capping equipment. They will troubleshoot and modify PLCs as required and ensure all instrumentation & calibration equipment is running optimally on a daily basis.

Qualified candidates will be Red Seal Industrial Electricians with at least 3-5 years of maintenance experience within a relevant pharma or food production and processing environment.

Required Qualifications :

• 442A Trade Qualification
  
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a pharma or food manufacturing
  
• MUST be well-versed in calibration and instrumentation
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Must be available to work afternoon shift Monday - Friday, or a combination of weekends & 2 weekdays.
  
• Must be comfortable wearing extensive PPE & adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards
