Job Type: Temp-Hire

Position: Full time

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Duties

  • TIG, MIG and MMA welding according to specification.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, tapping, and cutting steel parts.
  • Utilize various hand tools such as tape measures, torches, saws, squares, calipers, and any other that may be required within a manufacturing environment.
  • Works in a steady-paced, with occasional rush job type environment, follows standardized work and adheres to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and production orders to select, position, and secure components to be welded
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding

Physical Requirements

  • Physical ability to work on feet for long periods of time
  • Lift and move heavy objects Handle a heavy welding gun

Experience

  • Must be able to weld stainless steel
  • Proven experience as welder
  • Use of welding equipment and materials (TIG, MMA,ETC.)
  • Electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers. etc.
  • Must know how to weld carbon, stainless, and aluminum
  • Must know how to weld Carbon, Stainless Steel and Aluminum Must have experience operating an overhead crane
