What Shale Oilfield Services is Hiring for:
The Hydrovac Operator/CDL Driver The Operator is responsible for the Hydrovac performing excavation, pressure washing, potholing, trenching, daylighting, confined space entry and any other functions performed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate proficiency in equipment start up, operating, inspecting and maintenance of equipment, and successfully complete selected required Operator Qualifications (OQ’s)
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively and professionally communicate with on-sight customer representatives to determine scope of work and customer expectations.
- Must work as a team to complete jobs safely and effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in adhering to all Federal, State, Local and all company Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
- Consistently complete drivers log with ELD system
- Complete pre and post trip inspections
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDL-Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement
- Acceptable driving record with license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating hydro-vacuum equipment to include hydro excavation around sensitive underground piping and other utilities as well as tank entry, cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment, truck maintenance, etc.
- Knowledge of oilfield related tools and equipment
- Must be able to read and write the English language
- Ability to follow directions and be part of a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Confined Space Certified Entrant/Attendant
TRAINING:
- PEC Safeland
- H2S Clear
- Fit Test
- Strength and agility test
- One Basin/One Way
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to shovel and move/load/unload/work with 2” – 12” hoses.
- Position requires long periods of standing, shoveling, climbing up and down stairs repeatedly and the ability to work long hours if necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND HAZARDS:
- Work will be performed outdoors in ALL weather conditions including sub-zero temperatures.
- Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery and exposure to chemicals and loud noises.
