Lonestar Edmonton, AB is looking for Hydro Vac Operators to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for operating units in performing Daylighting and Excavation activities associated with pipeline, construction, utility and oil terminal work. *** Position may require travel away from home up to three weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Responsile for performing pre and post trip inspections, roadside repairs and general clean-up and maintenance of units;
  • Drives and operates hydro vac units to complete tasks associated with Daylighting, Excavation, Trenching and Shoring including rigging equipment in and out;
  • Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • Willing to travel up to 2 weeks at a time;
  • Class 3 driver's license required;
  • Previous Hydro Vac experience is an asset;
  • Previous Oilfield experience required;
  • Valid Safety Certifications including: Ground Disturbance, First Aid, H2S Alive required;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
