Mako Mechanical is a newly established company under Niradia Group of Companies, Located in Delta, BC. Niradia Group of Companies is a privately owned organization that has long-standing experience, a proven record of accomplishments and a well-respected presence in Western Canada in the construction, real estate, hospitality and property management industries. Properties and projects span British Columbia, Alberta and the Western United States. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Look after our existing customers
• Create maintenance contracts and quotations for strata buildings
• Understand and evaluate problems while identifying the appropriate solution
• Develop knowledge in mechanical systems
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with the ability to multitask
• Be available for emergency service calls
• Maintain working knowledge of the HVAC industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered
• Help on quoting HVAC work
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and ensure clients continue to have a high level of customer satisfaction
• Provide superior customer service while resolving client issues

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to successfully prospect, negotiate and close new business
• 2+ years experience in HVAC as a Journeyman
• Refrigeration Ticket
• Post-secondary education an asset
• Trade knowledge and/or experience
• Highly developed organizational & planning skills, time management skills
• Strong written/oral communications skills

Salary: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
