Hotshot Drivers Needed ASAP (Up to $28/hr + Housing)

We are currently looking for Hot Shot Drivers to join our team. This is a role that does require experience driving for mini-float trucks. It requires close supervision for the first several days on the job or until you can demonstrate you can successfully complete the duties on your own. This opportunity is only for the individual who is ready to perform work that requires physical effort.

Required Skills of the Hot Shot Driver:

• Responsible for safe and timely delivery of cargo to dispatched destinations
• Responsible for the secure (tie down) freight onto trailer operations
• Responsible for routine safety and truck/trailer inspections to conform to USDOT compliance
• Responsible for reporting equipment/personnel failures
• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
• Responsible for inspection and assuring the quality of equipment
• Consults with customer representatives for all job information and invoices.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualification requirements:

• Able to communicate in English
• MUST HAVE Current DOT Medical Card and be physically able to perform daily duties including driving 2500 to 3500 miles per week, tarping, chaining, binding
• MUST HAVE Valid Class A License Required (with clean driving record)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must undergo background check and Drug screen
• Must be able to pass pre-employment, post-accident, random drug tests
• Must be able to follow directions and company policies
• The ability to multitask.
• The ability to work both cooperatively and independently while being self-motivated.
• Must have basic knowledge of field invoices, filling out forms correctly and getting signatures from customers.Must be able to keep up with required paperwork filling out in a timely manner and turning in to the appropriate personnel.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, crawl, climb and sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as steel toed boots, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hats when needed.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in hot, cold, rainy and windy weather.
