What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

As a member of the shaft, hoist and site services department, you will be responsible for operating the timberland hoist when required and the Nordberg/Ingersoll-Rand production/personnel hoist, the transportation of personnel, materials, equipment and waste muck to and from underground in a safe and efficient manner, monitoring and initiating emergency response systems as required, and performing and documenting all daily and weekly equipment safety checks as required.

Requirements of the position:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years of mining experience
  • Ability to obtain a valid Saskatchewan hoisting certificate as per the Saskatchewan Mines Regulations
  • Complete and pass a medical examination
  • Excellent communication skills/team player
  • Must be familiar on using SAP, Microsoft teams, Bentley programs
  • Work a rotational day/night shift schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North.
