Welders for a local Manufacturing facility in York, PA!

Schedule: Monday- Friday Flexible 1st shift schedule

Pay: $20-24.00 depending on experience

Welders Primary Duties

• Basic understanding of blueprints and drawings, able to align components to plan layout and assembly, using tape measures, squares, clamps & etc.
• Setting up equipment for welding procedure according to specifications and requirements.
• Operate and maintain electrical, air and hand tools (saws, drills, grinders, sanders, squares & etc.)
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance, repair or replace items as needed to do the work efficiently and accurately. (Sawblades, weld leads, liners, tips, hoses & etc.)
• Welds components with continuous uniformity, good penetration, and a structurally sound weld.
• Strict adherence to Safety, familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in hazardous environment.
• Adheres to corporate policies, standards rule of conduct and procedures.
• Detail Oriented
• Proficient in math skills
• Perform any related functions as required.

Welder Qualifications:

• EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent
• 2- 5 years welding job experience.
• Required skills as per skill matrix.
• Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend and twist continuously up to 10 hours a day.Frequently lifting and carry 15 to 60 pounds.Ability to use arms to reach above the shoulder and bend below to the floor level pertaining to job requirements.Ability to use legs to climb ladders up to ten feet occasionally.Ability to be around moving machinery and equipment continuously.
