Mechanic Fabricator

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Salary: $45.00-$50.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Flexible 4 x 10-hour shifts

Role & Responsibilities:

• Proficient in the restoration and maintenance of classic and vintage automobiles
• Skilled in tuning and optimizing the performance of older cars, including engine upgrades, suspension modifications, and brake system enhancements
• Experienced in repairing and servicing driveline components such as transmissions, differentials, and axles
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems in older vehicles
• Skilled in retrofitting older cars with modern electronic fuel injection systems
• Experienced in wiring and electrical system repairs, including troubleshooting, and replacing faulty components
• Familiar with pro-touring techniques and able to implement them in the customization of older cars
• Proficient in sheet metal repair and fabrication, including rust removal, body panel replacement, and custom fabrication of body modifications.

Qualifications:

• Must possess reliable transportation to and from work
• Seeking a highly motivated Mechanic with a proven track record of working on a variety of modern and classic vehicles
• Looking for someone who takes pride in their work and demonstrates a positive attitude, with a keen eye for detail
• Required experience in the automotive field, including formal training or certification in automotive repair
