VicMechanical are hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $77.00-$89.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 48 – 84 per week
Technician responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting
- Diagnostics
- Field Service Repair
- Component parts replacement
- Mechanical Inspections
- Air conditioning repairs & Heating repairs
Required Qualification
- Journeyman Red seal HET certification or an Alberta provincial HET certification
- A valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract
- The ability to work alone in a field setting or as a part of a team
- The ability to work through troubleshooting charts and read schematics
Safety training certificates required:
- Ossa/BSO Orientation
- First aid
- Fall protection
- Aerial lift
- WHMIS and TDG
- Drug and alcohol testing
Training will be supplied, and while all prior training will be acknowledged, it will be deemed valid as long as the relevant certifications are presented.
Experience
- 2 years. (mining equipment)
- License/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Journeyman (required)
