What Aerotek is Hiring for:

Description:

This Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for:

Operate Heavy Equipment including Loaders and Excavators in a production, quarry environment.
Load 200 trucks per shift and make sure the loaded at the correct weight per contract.
Move material around the yard in an efficient way.
Perform regular safety inspections of equipment.

Skills:

Loader, excavator, Heavy Equipment Operator, Dozer, Trencher, Crane, Backhoe

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience operating Heavy Equipment (backhoes, dozers, cranes, loaders, trucks, etc.).
Experience performing basic maintenance and safety inspections on machinery.
Ability to operate equipment in fast-paced environment.
Possess a strong knowledge of individual equipment design and safety requirements.
Exhibit a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and a high level of safety consciousness.
Ability to communicate equipment issues and direct others on job assignments.
