Fly-in Heavy Equipment Mechanics Needed ASAP (Up to $57/hr + OT, Accommodations Available)

We are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team!

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on all types of equipment, hi-way and off hi-way, as well as performing preventative maintenance and general repairs.

The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of engines, fuel systems, electrical and hydraulics, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Inspect and test vehicles to diagnose mechanical problems.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine the best course of action.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Explain repair needs to customers in a clear and concise manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Self-motivating with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Competent in reading and interpreting schematics
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Valid Class 5 DL
• Proficient in Eng, Hyd, Transmission & Electrical troubleshooting
• Poses a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Red Seal Certification
• CVIP's Certification is an asset

Potential candidates must have familiarity with on and off-road equipment of a minimum of 5 years experience.
