What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Reporting to the supervisor, maintenance, you will be responsible for servicing heavy equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders both on surface and potentially underground. This includes performing preventative maintenance inspections, lubrication of mobile heavy equipment as well be able to troubleshoot equipment failures, completing overhauls and repair work as required.

Requirements of the position:

  • Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty mechanic certificate
  • Five years related experience with mobile heavy equipment maintenance and truck and transport equipment maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to utilize OEM diagnostic software
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent safety record
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP
  • Automotive and small motor repair experience
  • Experience performing SGI motor vehicle inspections

 Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North.
