Acuren is seeking professional, energetic and forward-thinking Labourers to support our Cathodic Protection division in Western Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a growing division within Acuren. Do you have experience working as a Labourer in the industry or are you interested in gaining experience in this field? If so, apply today! 

• Project work with varied hours and locations
• Be available to travel for multiple days to remote locations (>70%)

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
• Provide labour support as needed for specialty crews
• Lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs and navigate job site terrain
• Be able to walk long distances while navigating job site terrain
• Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
• Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor.
• Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or by supervisor.
• Maintain all safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
• Pipeline/oil field experience is not essential but considered an asset
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients and co-workers
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
• Able to work in various temperature and climate conditions
