BP’s Archaea Energy is hiring Operations Technicians for RNG (renewable natural gas) sites across multiple states including Kansas, California, Illinois, and more. This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining gas processing systems at landfill-based RNG facilities, supporting BP’s net zero strategy. Ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with experience in plant or gas operations.

What you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT hearing/drug test
• 1–3 years in landfill gas, chemical, power, or industrial gas operations
• Hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and follow safety protocols
• Proficiency in MS Office and industrial software tools

What will make you stand out:

• Landfill gas operation experience
• Familiarity with sensors/transducers and control systems
• Knowledge of P&ID and gas chemistry
• Experience in hazardous waste handling and documentation
