What Jardeg is Hiring for:

Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders.
  • Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch.
  • Weld parts together.

 Requirements:

  • All journeymen must have Alberta and/or Red Seal Trade certificate.
  • Alberta B Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province.
  • BSO/CSO/OSSA regional orientation 
  • AWP
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space
  • Mask Fit Test

 Welding Tickets: (Hand Welder) (must be current and within 6 mths)

Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required - as per HEARTLAND CONSTRUCTORS INC. Performance Qualification testing of welder’s guideline:
