What Adecco is Hiring for:

Adecco is currently hiring for a Soldering Technician to work for a leading company that majors in the Electronic Component Manufacturing industry. 

  • Pay rate: $17/hour
  • Location: Markham, ON
  • Shifts: 4PM - 12:30AM | 7:30AM - 4PM
  • Job type: Full time, Temporary with opportunity for permanent employment
  • Responsibilities:

  • Performs component assembly of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, chassis wiring assemblies
  • Mounts and solders components, wiring harnesses, connectors and mechanical assemblies
  • Rework and repair of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies based on instructions, ECOs, process deviation, etc.
  • Support engineering projects as required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • High school graduate
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
  • Certificate or Diploma in Electronics or enrolled in a technical school would be an asset
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Hand soldering or a related field
  • Encourages and demonstrates a strong focus on delivering for the customer
  • Demonstrated ability to shift focus into alternate roles as required. Works well under pressure and meets set deadlines
  • Works well under pressure and meets set deadlines
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer
  • Overtime as required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
