Gold Eagle Mine Looking for Electricians: 21/14 Rotations, Accommodations & Meals Provided

ATCO Frontec Ltd. is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to join our team at the Victoria Gold Eagle Mine. The Journeyperson Electrician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation/dismantling of electrical systems.

Our positions work on a 21 days on, 14 days off rotation. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company. 

Responsibilities:

• Complete timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects / deficiencies
• Conduct timely maintenance services and quality repair of equipment
• Provide input to the Maintenance Coordinator for the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule
• Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects
• Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes
• Variety of other tasks including cleaning grease traps, garbage removal, fixing lift stations, plunging toilets, shoveling snow and other general camp maintenance items. 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Certified Electrician (Red Seal) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with SAP & Service Max
• Current certificates in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform
• Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to read drawings and schematics
• Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
