General Labourer - St Catharines - Concrete ( $18.00 - 20.00/hr)

General Labourer

Location: St Catharines, ON

Salary: $18 - 20/hr DOE

Position: Full time, permanent

Responsibilities

• Working with a small crew of 1-2 others
• Meeting at the Shop location to load trucks with materials, supplies, tools and equipment for the day. Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Working at client sites to re-finish, re-fill, and repair concrete projects such as patios, sidewalks, driveways, pads, etc.
• Mixing concrete and sand material, using a mortar mixing machine
• Attaching hydraulic hoses to pumps and machines
• Using shovels to mix, scoop, and combine materials  
• Using drills and small hand tools to complete project finishing
• On occasion, with training and added responsibility, drive and operate the company truck (G-License needed, clean Drivers Abstract)

Experience

• 1–2-years of outdoor labour or construction labour experience

Skills & Aptitudes

• Ability to work with a very small team and take directions well
• Ability and comfort with manual lifting and working outdoors
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to meet deadlines 

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (Day Shift) 7:30am – 4:30/5:00pm
