General Laborers Needed Houston Area

We are seeking reliable and dependable General Laborers to perform general facility maintenance duties within a refinery or petrochemical facility. These duties include, but are not limited to: General clean up/trash pick-up and disposal; water distribution within the facility; unit clean-up and removal of waste; and cooling tower clean-up. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid, active TWIC card
• Must pass a strict background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• May be required to pass a respirator fit test (depending on the facility)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have lace-up, ankle high, steel-toed boots
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Physical Requirements:

• Walk up to 3 miles per day in the elements (excessive heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs – including climbing in pipe racks
• Climbing stairs and/or ladders and work at high elevations at times (up to 300 ft.)
• Kneeling, crawling, pushing and pulling
• Walking around on uneven, slick, or rocky surfaces
• Must be willing and able to work extended hours (up to 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week)
