What Nexus Staffing LLC is Hiring for:

We are seeking a Frac Electronic Technician (E-Tech) to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of communication and instrumentation systems for fracturing equipment. If you have experience with electronic maintenance and a passion for the oil and gas industry, this is an excellent opportunity to join our team!



Rotation Schedule:
  • 14 Days On / 7 Days Off
  • Scheduled 12-hour shifts, typically working 12-15 hours per day
Compensation:
  • Competitive pay starting at $25 - $30 per hour (based on experience)
  • $30 per diem
  • Housing provided for non-local candidates
Essential Job Duties:
  • Perform duties in accordance with the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Execute basic soldering and wiring termination techniques.
  • Build, repair, and maintain instrumentation and communication cables used on fracturing equipment.
  • Read and understand electrical drawings and schematics, explain connection symbols, and identify connections, components, and terminal points.
  • Understand the basic function, connection, and communication capability of all equipment used in the fracturing process.
  • Perform basic maintenance of computer systems, including software and hardware updates.
  • Conduct basic preventive maintenance and visual inspections using authorized procedures and standardized forms.
  • Travel to job locations and perform emergency repairs on electronics and instrumentation.
  • Install and configure electronic equipment, instrumentation, and software.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electronic test equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read equipment prints and schematics for effective troubleshooting.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including long and irregular hours.
  • Must have a phone and be available for 24-hour on-call duty.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
