What Elwood Staffing is Hiring for:

Operator Tech positions.

This is a temp-to-hire position.

Starting pay of $19.00/hr for day shift and $20.25 for night shift.

Fork Lift Operators Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$19.00 to $20.25 /hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
Third Shift (Monday through Sunday from 06:00pm to 06:00am)

Follows documented procedures to prepare and fill containers based upon specific product and customer requirements
Ensures correct lineup of packaging for various receipt and delivery operations; performs gauging and temperature verification; completes associated paperwork
Moves containers and supplies within the plant to using a forklift
Responds rapidly and appropriately to emergencies following safety guidelines and procedures; uses equipment, chemicals and procedures appropriate to the situation to mitigate damages

Fork Lift Operators Qualifications:

Good communications skills; proficient in English including reading, writing and speaking at a minimum of high school level; ability to clearly communicate to all levels in the organization
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and long division; proficient with fractions and ability to perform various mathematical conversions
Basic computer knowledge and user ability including database systems and other programs
Flexibility to work varying and/or rotating shifts. You will be on either a day or night shift with a rotating schedule but will not change shifts.

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
