Jardeg Construction is hiring experienced Journeypersons for mine-based maintenance roles at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort Mackay, Alberta. Open positions include CWB Welders, Rope Access Technicians (multiple trades), and Heavy Equipment Technicians. These 14/14 fly-in fly-out roles offer rotational stability, full camp accommodations, and exposure to large-scale mining equipment on one of Alberta’s premier maintenance sites.

What you'll need:
- Journeyperson ticket in your trade (Welder, HET, etc.)
- CWB FCAW (All Positions), B-Pressure, or Red Seal as applicable
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-access drug and alcohol clearance
- Mine equipment experience (D11s, 797s, shovels, etc.)
- ESC certifications (CSO, Fall Protection, AWP, Confined Space, etc.)
What will make you stand out:
- IRATA Level 1–3 (for Rope Access roles)
- Overhead crane, forklift, or telehandler certification
- Strong mechanical diagnostics and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with ice lugging, frame crack repairs, or structural fabrication in mining environments
