Position: Construction Labourer

Location: Fort McMurray or Wandering River areas (Fly-In/Fly-Out and Drive-In/Drive-Out Opportunities)Rate Range: $21 - $27 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up work areas, including signage and hazard marking
• Transport construction materials and shovel soil/equipment tracks
• Perform flagging, traffic control, shooting grade, and equipment monitoring
• Conduct hand excavation and erosion control installation
• Communicate with team members for effective operations
• Uphold safety standards and project guidelines
• Showcase judgment and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent construction labour experience
• Experience as a packer operator in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance (preferred)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean 3-year abstract
• Ability to interpret survey layouts (asset)
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols

Requirements:

• Must have or be willing to obtain CSTS-09, OSSA Regional, BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive or Awareness, and Bear Awareness certifications
• Steel-toed 6" lace-up boots (CSA Approved)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Pass a pre-employment alcohol, drug, and fit-to-work assessment

Working Conditions:
