Floor Lead - Wire Harness Assembly Mon-Fri (23-27/hr DOE)

Location: Tempe, AZ

Salary: $23 - 27 per hour, DOE

Sector: Aerospace company.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 6am to 230pm – OT as required

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensures that assemblies are made right the first time, and relays that sense of urgency and importance

- Assist the assembly techs in a timely manner

- Report productivity to the Production Supervisor and proper upper management

- Relay urgency and expectations to the manufacturing team

- Ensures plans and specs are always followed, in compliance with customer/vendor standards

- Ensure Company policies are enforced at all times in compliance with the workplace, work instructions, and procedures

- In assistance to the Production Supervisor, resolve any production or quality issues pertaining to quality or production schedules

- Evaluate production needs daily for production assignments, tooling, training, etc.

- In-Process Inspections when needed with proper documentation 

- Verify Job - Travelers are being correctly completed 

- Manage work order levels, always keeping the assembly team productive

- Close supervision and support to new hires from training line to the production line

- Always be a team player and work as an equal to all employees 

- Suggest improvement opportunities when available 

Experience

-3-5 years experience in Wire Harness Assembly (required)

Languages

- Ability to read / speak / understand the English language 

Knowledge & Skills

- Ability to read/understand drawings, notes, and assembly procedures

- Accountable, detailed, friendly, dedicated personalities desired

- Ability to take precision measurements with tools such as rulers, scales, tape measures, and calipers

- Ability to read and use blueprints and schematics

- Computer literate - Windows, MS Office

Travel/Transport

- Reliable transportation and a valid Drivers License

Pre-employment

- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

- Authorized to work in the US
