Fitters Needed in Northern AB up to $56/hr, $300 Travel Allowance

Seeking experienced Journeyperson Steamfitters/Pipefitters in the Bonnyville area to join a leading Alberta-based industrial contractor with over 25 years of experience in industrial fabrication, construction, and maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to work close to home on a predictable schedule in Alberta's energy sector.

Position Highlights:

• Employee Rate: $49/hour
• Sub-Contractor Rate: $56/hour
• Location: Bonnyville/Cold Lake area
• Schedule: 8 days on, 6 days off rotation (Wednesday to Wednesday)
• Travel Allowance: $300 per rotation, travel to La Corey required before shift start
• Shift Length: 12 hours daily, last day of rotation is an 8-hour shift to allow for travel

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Perform precise work using experience and judgement
• Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
• Select correct type and size of pipe
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe accurately

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter
• Valid Alberta Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate (Red Seal if out-of-province)
• Pre-access drug and alcohol test clearance
• Valid Driver’s License
• Safety Tickets
