What True Canadian Energy is Hiring for:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager in the Bonnyville location (Job is Based in Bonnyville), the Field Service Technician is responsible for product installation, field support and maintenance, equipment repair, customer property repair. Along with our expectation of high-quality products, service is paramount to our customers. All management and staff will be held accountable.

 

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour to start
  • Additional pay: Overtime pay
  • Work remotely: Rarely

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deliver, assemble, test, and paint wellhead assemblies.
  • Execute field service requirements such as installation and maintenance of wellheads.
  • Assisting in Shop Duties, Customer Property Repair
  • Maintain service units, including tools and spare component requirement.
  • To assist in the development of a strong service team.
  • To work in consort with all other divisions and branches, thereby maximizing our efficiencies. Cross-training and inter-branch support is expected.
  • Proper logbooks and records must be kept ensuring adequate service intervals and hours of service regulations are followed.
  • To fully support documented internal company quality programs and procedures and safety programs.

Qualification Requirements

  • 1-3 years Thermal Wellhead
  • Gate Valve knowledge / repair experience considered an asset.
  • Valid / class 5 license / Clean Drivers Abstract required.
  • Knuckle Picker experience and certification an asset.
  • H2S, First Aid, CSO required.
  • Pass Drug & Alcohol test required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.
  • Service oriented with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Safety in the Field and shop environment re-enforce PPE requirements, safe-work, and quality procedures.
  • Hours of Service. Use all available resources to be sure the hours-of-service legislation are being followed and documented.
  • Training is ongoing and paramount. You will be instrumental in the development and implementation of formal Service Training and continual improvement in all areas.
