Field Service Technician

Location: Williamsport, PA

Schedule: 5 & 2 (8 hour days – 40 hour week M-F – OT possible and call-outs)

Pay:  DOE

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for oil and gas well operations, well testing, operating and maintaining field equipment and facilities, surveillance of general field operations and maintenance of various databases regarding production and operations.

Job Duties:

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected. 
• Mechanically inclined and have experience in working around oil and gas equipment including but not limited to GPU’s, production separators, Back pressure valves, pressure control valves, ESD’s, generators, air compressors, and electric pumps. 
• Support Well Tender duties
• Maintain field generators through regular fluids and maintenance checks
• Tackle field maintenance related work with GPU’s and production units
• Capable of replacing piping, valves and fittings
• Service and trouble shoot auto chokes and conventional chokes
• Changing trim and seats as necessary
• Replacing choke/dump bodies as necessary
• Working on freshwater injection skids and repairing components as necessary
• Helping well operators trouble shoot and repair malfunctioning equipment
• Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures while taking a proactive role in managing environmental, health and safety for assigned areas of responsibilities.
• Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Field Service Tech in Oil & Gas production operations with working knowledge/experience of land/onshore.
• Mechanically inclined and have experience in working around oil and gas equipment including but not limited to GPU’s, production separators, Back pressure valves, pressure control valves, ESD’s, generators, air compressors, and electric pumps. 
• safety minded individuals
• Strong Computer Skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision
• High School Grad or GED.  Some college or technical training preferred
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Candidate must live within a 60-mile or 1 hour radius of the job site
