Overview

Reports to: Service Manager
Shift: 7x7, 12 hours per day – rotational between days and nights
Location: Prince George, BC
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Responsibilities

Maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment
Able to diagnose Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical systems. Hydraulic experience is an asset.
Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
Test the repaired equipment for proper performance
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and part of a team.

Qualifications

Journeyperson HDET or Millwright including Red Seal Certification
4-7 years of mining, construction, dealership experience
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and warranty environments
Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical systems.
Must have no restrictions for access for any mine sites
Good organizational and planning skills
Hold a strong standard for quality and safety
