Experienced Pipeline Equipment Operators for Peace River Area $32-$55/hr

Weaver Group has the following long-term positions available for projects, starting in January, within the Peace River area:

Excavator Operators

General Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in pipeline excavation including: ROW prep, ramp & access building, ditching, shading, striping, stumping, slope grooming, backfilling, bore support and hotline work
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Calculate weight, distance, volume and length measurements
• Competent to operate on adverse terrain and near power lines
• Able to Interpret verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and swampers, and acts accordingly.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance/servicing and complete required paperwork
• Identify safety risks and hazards and comply with relevant safety procedures and regulations

Dozer Operators

General Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in pipeline dozer operation including: grade ROW, ramp & access building, ripping, striping, backfilling, final clean up, snow removal
• Competent to operate on adverse terrain and near power lines
• Able to Interpret verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and swampers, and acts accordingly.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance/servicing and complete required paperwork
• Identify safety risks and hazards and comply with relevant safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Pick up truck with fuel tank and filter
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Current CSO
• Current H2S
• Current Standard First Aid with Level C CPR
• Ground Disturbance Level 2 and PCST

Truck and live out allowance available to those who qualify.

Wages dependent upon experience and contractor/employee status.
