ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION ESTIMATOR, GREELEY, CO

PTW is hiring an E&I Estimator to join our North Central team, Greeley.

If you have at least 7 years of E&I estimating experience, exposure to; Commercial, Light & Heavy Industrial, Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas, and Water & Wastewater construction market AND a successful background in winning 200K to 5M+ projects, we want to hear from you!  

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

·        Lead/prepare detailed full cost estimates on general tender, conceptual and design-build E&I projects for the North American market.

·        Attend pre-tender site visits as required.

·        Review specifications and drawings to determine the total scope of work and associated costs including indirect costs, while understanding the value in proper coding.

·        Ensure estimates follow proper estimating methodologies, and applying appropriate factors, i.e. winter work, working at heights, different size bundles or cable sizes, etc.

·        Evaluates RFQ package to identify risks and opportunities.

·        Utilize parametric estimating techniques for Joint Venture and large project budgetary estimates.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·        Strong background in design-build projects, working with an electronic estimating & database software.

·        Ability to review and validate pricing on E&I materials with Suppliers, Manufacturers and Lighting Agencies in relation to project estimating.

·        Able to read and interpret blueprints and divisional project specifications

·        Proficient knowledge and understanding of the North American Electrical Codes.

·        Demonstrated leadership, work ethic and quality of work.

GOOD TO KNOW

·        Travel to pre-tender sites as required (Across North America)
