What Nuna Logistics is Hiring for:

SNAP LAKE WINTER ROAD is now accepting resumes for Multi Equipment Operators with large earthworks and construction projects experience.

Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks and mine construction contractor in Canada.  

  • This is camp position, with an anticipated rotation of 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 12 hour shifts. Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  •  Candidates will have to complete pre-access criminal records, medical and alcohol and drug testing check to gain access to site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities;
  • Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns;
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required;
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members;
  • Operate other heavy equipment if required;
  • Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.  
 Job Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 1) and clean Driver's Abstract;
  • Previous experience operating Graders, Snowcat, Loaders, Backhoes, Bobcats and driver truck (Standard 18 speed) in a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting;
  • Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life;
  • Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades);
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness;
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols.
