Holcim’s Lafarge Canada team is hiring full-time Equipment Operators for its road construction base crew in Saskatoon. The role involves safely operating dozers, graders, and other machinery to prepare and compact base materials. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of experience and knowledge of grading techniques. This is a physically demanding job requiring attention to safety and site communication.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 with Air Brakes is an asset)

  • Safety certs like CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid are assets

  • Strong grasp of grading techniques and ability to read blueprints

  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor

  • Must pass medical, drug test, and background check

  • Experience using TopCon and Trimble GPS systems

  • Strong communication with crews and supervisors

  • Demonstrated ability to inspect and maintain heavy machinery
