Position: Bulldozer Operator

Company: Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company

Location: Outdoor manufacturing facility

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary:

Oldcastle APG is seeking experienced Bulldozer Operators to work in a rugged, unpaved outdoor environment, moving bulk materials throughout the manufacturing facility. Operators are responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while performing routine maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

Read job specifications to determine necessary adjustments and materials
Monitor equipment operation to identify potential malfunctions
Perform routine maintenance, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment
Inspect equipment daily and complete inspection reports
Operate equipment by maneuvering levers, shifting gears, and steering precisely

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
Ability to sit for extended periods and operate equipment on various surfaces
Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional team lifts up to 65 lbs
Comfortable climbing in and out of cab heights multiple times per hour
Ability to work safely in a busy yard, judging distances and operating equipment with precision
Must be able to work in extreme outdoor conditions (cold, heat, rain, fog)
