Entry Level Oilfield Work in CO/TX/PA/LA: $39-$46/hr

Keep in mind that you will almost always start out as a roughneck until you have proven your competency in the field despite your past experience.

FOREIGN WORKERS

You MUST be LEGAL to work in the USA without sponsorship. This will require either a green card or citizenship. The company is NOT OFFERING to sponsor work visas.

APPROXIMATE COMPENSATION

(Based on Regular Oil Base Pay and a 2 week rotation)

Approximate COMBINED Earnings including base rate + overtime + oil base pay + per diem:

Roughnecks (Base Rate $26.95)

Combined earnings = $85,000 / year ($39 / hr)

Up To

Derrickhands (Base Rate $32.26)

Combined earnings = $101,000 / year ($46 / hr)

Per Diem = $35 / Day

OBM = $25 / Day

RECRUITER BACKROUND

I currently work for Precision Drilling (PD) as a Motorhand and the company has posted positions for floorhands and Derrickhands. I do not work for HR directly, but I have been approved to run a referral program where I vet cold contacts and forward them on. The company pays me for qualified candidates who I refer, PD hires, and the candidate lasts past 3 months in the field. If you are hired as a referral you also receive a bonus if you work past 8 months. I do not require any money or sensitive personal information to earn a referral, but I will require that you do some basic reading and show basic competency through over the phone interviews. The process follows 3 basic steps:

JOB DETAILS

NO VACCINE MANDATE, but you must show proof of a negative test prior to returning for your rotation if you have not been vaccinated.

The work currently being offered is rotational, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, which allows you to live where you want despite where the work is.

A full benefit package is offered after successful completion of 60 days of continuous service. Expect to gross $3,300 for every week worked and about $7,000 / month. Plenty of opportunity for advancement and continued training. In order to refer you I am asking for a 6 month minimum commitment.

This is an extremely mentally and physically demanding job, but can be a great opportunity for hard working individuals who are:

BASIC DUTIES (Entry Level)

• Assisting the Derrickhand, Motorhand and Driller on the drill floor while making trips

• Operating manual tongs and slips to connect and disconnect drilling pipe and drilling bits or tools

• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance of the drilling equipment and other components of the rig while adhering to Precision maintenance standards

• Ensuring the drill floor is kept clean and other housekeeping activities on and around the rig including cleaning, washing, chipping and painting

• Actively participate in safety meetings and adhering to all applicable safety regulations;

• Assisting the Derrickhand in mixing mud and chemicals

• Assisting in moving the rig, rigging up and rigging down/out

• Miscellaneous duties including but not limited to offloading/back loading trucks, nipple up/down, care of the blowout preventer (BOP) system, and monitoring the operation of the shakers, return tanks, mud pits and chemical sack area.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Must be LEGAL to work in the USA

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

• A valid driver's license as well as transportation to and from rig site

• Must be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic

• Ability to communicate effectively with others

• Ability to follow instructions and take direction

• Willingness to read and understand Precision’s Key Beliefs, Target Zero Rules & Stop Work Authority
