Entry Level Metal Shop Worker (Welder/Brake operator)

Located in Langley, BC

Salary: $23-27/hour (for probation)

Requirements: 

The successful candidate will be someone who knows, or willing to learn to weld aluminum truck steps [.100-.125 thickness] with 3 spot welds (MIG) and steel tread steps with [1.5-2" legs] with a single line weld (STICK) the person should also be willing to learn/use break press/shear as required to prep product for welding. may include punch press. 

Pay will be based off experience, so while the Ad says a bottom pay rate, that is for someone early on in their career... willing to pay for the right person with the right attitude. 

Notes:

-Reliable transportation required (No bus route)-Working hours are 7-2:40 (Lunch is paid, and you leave 20 minutes early in lieu of other breaks) that is paid as an 8 hour day.

-Raise upon completion of probation period + Benefits/retirement/Quarterly production bonus-Experience not necessary, but must have the ability to work safe while using power tools and small/large machinery.

-Must be able to read a tape measure****** to 16th of an inch. as well as learning to use other QC tools like a square.  

-PPE supplied by the workplace, But need your own high ankle steel-toes

-Those without experience but willing to be trained will also be considered
