Interfor is seeking a Certified Journeyman Industrial Electrician to join their team in Grand Forks, British Columbia. The position offers a starting rate of $48.895 per hour, with opportunities to work in a safety-focused environment where teamwork and machine reliability are prioritized. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems within the sawmill, planer, and kiln hot oil systems, as well as working with PLC and HMI systems.

Applicants should hold a Red Seal certification as an industrial electrician (BC/IP) and have experience with Allen Bradley PLC, motion control, and troubleshooting VFD drives. Strong safety awareness, effective communication skills, and the ability to contribute to a team environment are essential. The position may require flexibility for swing or alternate shifts. FSR qualification is an asset.
