PTW is hiring an Electrical journeymen, Foremen or Superintendents to join our team in West Texas (Midland, Odessa, etc.)! If you have been successful in a similar role and are available to start immediately, we want to hear from you!

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site focusing on the mechanical and electrical scopes of work. If you can provide operational leadership to our team, we want to hear from you! Industrial Electrician, State License preferred but not required.

  • Initiate, coordinate, direct, and schedule site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with the optimizations of mechanical and electrical design drawings.
  • Prepare and review reports on progress, costs, materials used and adjust work schedules as required
  • Assist in preparation and negotiation of mechanical and electrical subcontracts.
  • Monitor the overall progress of the project and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Maintain a respectful and engaging work environment for all employees, with attention on PTW’s Health Safety, Security and Environmental Policies.
  • Accountable for compliance with union agreements

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • A strong leader and problem-solver, you are able to build and steward trust with clients, subcontractors, and team members to effect competitive excellence and pride in teamwork with outstanding project delivery.
  • A degree and/or related trade experience in Electrical and Instrumentation industrial installations is required. The successful candidate brings roughly 10 years’ experience in the construction industry working with contractors with relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Be capable of reading and understanding Instrument, Electrical, and P&ID drawings, with in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and how they integrate with construction elements.
  • Provide overall supervision, coordination and scheduling of construction activities and consistently complete projects on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated competence in the areas of safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration.
  • Sound knowledge of construction and building techniques is required.

 

TICKETS REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have applicable safety tickets
  • Able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
