Electricians in Grande Prairie, AB (Up to $40.00/hr + Home Every Night)

The duration of the position will be dependent on client needs, but could be up to a year.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide wiring layouts.
• Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
• Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
• Position, support, and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, fiber optic cables, panels, and fuse enclosures.
• Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
• Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

Requirements

• Have a Journeyperson or an Apprentice Electrician card.
• Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: CSO, TDG, Aerial Work Platform, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection
• Have high regard for personal safety, safety of company assets and employees.
• Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
