Nabors is hiring Electrical Technicians II to support the deployment of high-tech drilling performance software and hardware across rigs nationwide. This hands-on role focuses on system installation, technical troubleshooting, and customer training for PLC-based controls and instrumentation in the oil and gas industry. Ideal candidates bring deep electrical and control systems experience, familiarity with Siemens/Allen Bradley technology, and readiness to travel extensively to rig sites across North America.

What you’ll need:

6+ years electrical or oil & gas industry experience
Knowledge of PLC, VFD, SCR, HMI, Top Drive systems
Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Modbus, Profibus, Canbus, Ethernet/IP
Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
Server and virtual machine configuration experience
Valid passport and flexibility for rotational/international travel
Physical fitness for rig site work, ability to lift up to 50 lbs
PPE compliance and safety-oriented work ethic

What will make you stand out:

Experience with instrumentation systems and fiber-optic troubleshooting
Familiarity with Windows networking and server imaging
Ability to document and resolve recurring tech issues for engineering teams
