What OCL Group is Hiring for:
Journeyman Welder/Rigger to support their Shovel Maintenance Team.
6 / 6 schedule, 12-hour day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing shovel maintenance, including supporting outages.
- Aligning and anchoring the machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, ensuring the rigging is safe for use
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Requirements:
- Journey-Certified Welder/Interprovincial Red Seal Certification.
- Must have a Certified Rigging ticket
- Flux core and wire feed experience an asset.
- A minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
- Preference will be given to individuals with previous shovel and mine equipment experience.
- A clean driver’s abstract.
- The successful candidate must successfully complete a site pre-access drug and alcohol test.
- CSO Certification required.
- Confined Space and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) training an asset.
